When someone runs for office, one might think they are doing so because they want to serve the people of their community. That is not always the case. Take , for example , Caitlyn Jenner . She recently announced her bid for California governor in the recall election of Gavin Newsome . Based on what I’ve been hearing, it doesn’t seem that she will serve all the people of her community should she be elected .
Caitlyn Jenner is against transgender women playing girls’ and women’s sports, even though being transgender herself, she recently played in a Women’s golf tournament. And despite the fact that she is part of the LGBTQIA community, she is against same-sex marriage. How can she serve this community that she is a part of when she obviously has some prejudices against them ?
And lest we forget, Caitlyn Jenner, like someone else we know , who , until a few months ago held the highest office of our nation, has no political experience whatsoever . This , plus her hypocrisy and bigotry , makes Caitlyn Jenner’s bid for governor a disaster waiting to happen.
I don’t live in California, but if I did, it’s a sure bet I wouldn’t vote for her. If you want my vote , you need to be for the people . All of them .
