A new year has begun. That means new hopes, new dreams, new possibilities. The slate has been wiped clean and we get to start over.

As we reflect on the year that has passed , we are also looking to the future . Our future. We are all human beings and it’s time we start acting like it.

There’s no point to violence, it doesn’t solve anything. Don’t show hate, show kindness . Instead of knocking someone down, lift them up. It doesn’t take much. It can be as simple as sharing a smile or a kind word.

We’ve been given another chance to right the wrongs of the past year, another chance to show that we are indeed all members of the same family. The family known as the human race.

Let’s take that chance and run with it.
