New Year’s is always a time of reflection and resolution. As I sit here writing, I can’t help but reflect on how my life has changed in the last month. In December I started dating my wonderful boyfriend Steven. As we enter 2013, Steven and I are coming up on one month together. 

I haven’t made any resolutions, but have started a whole new chapter of my life.  I am friends with Steven’s sister, Debbie, and have known  both her and him for quite a while. I finally got the nerve up to tell her how I felt and she was very happy about it. Debbie, then told Steven how I felt, and not only was he interested but somewhere along the way we wound up falling in love. 

Finding love unexpectedly is a gift that should never be taken for granted. And I, for one, intend to cherish every moment Steven and I spend together.   I never expected to find anyone at this stage of the game and am very, very lucky to have found Steven.

So , all in all, 2013 is shaping up to be a great year. I hope you all have as wonderful a year as I am having so far!
