We’re all in this together. At least we’re supposed to be.  The holidays are upon us and it’s a time for “peace on earth and goodwill  toward man. ” Unfortunately there is little goodwill to be found these days. And without goodwill, how can there be peace on Earth?

Hanukkah has arrived and families are lighting their menorahs, eating latkes and playing dreidel. Christmas trees are being decorated and presents are being wrapped. It is supposed to be a joyous season. But why it can’t it always be joyous? Why must we be divided? Why must we hate?

Let’s put aside all the bad feelings and look at each other anew. We are all members of the same family. A family called the human race.
