​What is happening to our world? It seems like we can’t go one day without hearing of yet another terror attack. Case in point, the recent attack in Nice France. More innocent people were killed, more lives destroyed. 
It is all so senseless. This is not the world I grew up in. This has become a world of violence, a world of hate, and it needs to stop. Violence accomplishes nothing , except to beget more violence.  
This world belongs to all of us. We need to protect it. We need to stop hating,  and start loving one another.  We are all one family living under the same sun. Let’s start acting like it.
Let’s join hands and sing a song of harmony. We need to stand together and stand strong. They say  “ United we stand, divided we fall,” .  Well, right now we are falling. Straight into the abyss.
The world needs a great big hug, and we are just the ones to give it. I wrote the following poem a few days ago and would like to share it.
