I know Halloween is over, but the Sock Monster is alive and well. I know this for a fact, because wherever I go, whatever washing machines I use,my socks go in but never return! This summer  I bought a package of socks( 5 pairs in the package),and before I knew it they were gone.  The Sock Monster Strikes Again!  What is it about socks and washing machines and dryers? Is there some kind of  cosmic pull that makes them disappear? Is it an unwritten rule? Unwritten Rule # 4,768:  “Socks may never come out of the washer or dryer as a pair.”All know is I just had to go out and buy another package of socks, and am wondering how long before I can expect another visit from the Sock Monster.  I’ll keep you posted.
