I didn’t watch President Trump’s State of the Union address to Congress last night. I get up early for work, and was in bed and asleep, before it even began.

Besides , all you have to do is watch or read the news on a daily basis to know what the State of the Union is. It’s not good. Not by any stretch of the imagination.

For starters, we have a racist, narcissistic, dictator who wants to be king.  and most likely has some form of dementia , as our President. Running the show for him,  is a Nazi uber geek billionaire advising him on affairs he has no business being a part of.

Even worse, in charge of Healthcare is an anti-vaxxer who said he had a brain worm that ate part of his brain. And that I can believe,  based on things he has said and done.

Not to mention that under President Trump’s orders , ICE has been rounding up and detaining people left and right. And let’s not forget, everyone whose rights are being stripped away. The list includes the LGBTQIA+ community, women, individuals with disabilities, and basically anyone who the president dislikes or anyone who does not agree with him.

Then there is Project 2025, which wants to cut Medicare, and Social Security  . The president and his cronies want to get rid of the Department of Education. That should go over well. Sure.

America is being held hostage by an overgrown toddler. A petulant child who has tantrums whenever he doesn’t get his way. Vindictive and petty, President Trump doesn’t care who he hurts or how it’s done . All he cares about his himself and his agenda.

This is what is happening in America today. We have a long road ahead of us. No, the State of the Union  is not good and is only going to get worse.
