” You can’t please all of the people all of the time…”  That is the beginning of a famous saying, and it’s true.  Your opinions may not be the same as someone else’s,  and guess what? It’s perfectly okay

We are all different, so it stands to reason that our opinions on things will be different sometimes as well. But resorting to hate and violence because of that is not okay at all.

Politics is a prime example. There have always been differences of options when it comes to those running for office. Especially the office of President of the United States. We may like one candidate over another, but that doesn’t give us the right to harass, bully, or use any form of violence against people we don’t agree with. Sadly, this has been happening in the current political world for some time.

We are all entitled to our own opinions. But, we are not entitled to disrespect or hurt anyone who may not think the same as we do. Families and friendships have been torn apart. People have been physically injured or worse. All because of a difference of opinion.

It needs to stop. We need to start acting like the adults that we are and start respecting one another. If we can do that, then there may be hope for us yet.

It’s not possible to please everyone, so let’s just agree to disagree.
